Joanna McElwain, LMT, BCTMB

Joanna McElwain, Founder/Owner of Lotus Inspired, LLC is Board Certified through NCBTMB and a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development and her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. She is a Certified Fitness Trainer through International Sports Science Association with a specialization in Sports Nutrition as well as an Educator of Massage and a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho System of Natural Healing. She has studied numerous courses in Humanistic Science and metaphysics through IMHS. She studied Thai Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2013 and again in 2025. She has completed over 200 hours of training from Thai Massage schools, Including: TMC, ITM, Old Medicine Hospital, Wat Po, Namo, Ongs, as well as individual Thai Masters. In the U.S., she studied Thai Massage at ITM-USA and Living Sabai. Joanna’s areas of interest and experience are hospitality, education, business, massage therapy and bodywork. She has been a practicing massage therapist since 2008 and an Approved Provider of Continuing Education since 2011.
