Traditional Thai Massage is an ancient practice deriving from a blend of Ayurvedic concepts, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and other Asian Healing Arts. Thai Massage restores body’s energy systems, increases flexibility, and alleviates pain.
Foot Reflexology is a healing practice whose origin remains a mystery. Many cultures dating back to 1500AD have been depicted applying pressure to various parts of the feet in order to maintain health. Thai Foot Reflexology applies pressure to various pressure points on each foot that relate to the function of an organ, gland, or body system. If there is a blockage in the system, the area on the foot that corresponds to that particular organ or system may be tender, sensitive or feel hard to the touch. The practitioner applies pressure techniques to these areas to stimulate the system, increase circulation to the system, and instigate the body’s immune response. Reflexology works only the feet, but effects the entire body.
